1. Using the bot
By using HOK Expert, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, stop interacting with the bot and ask your server administrators to restrict or remove it where needed.
You must meet Discord’s minimum age requirements, including being at least 13 and meeting any higher age required in your location. Your use must also follow Discord’s Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.
2. Game advice and generated replies
The bot offers game discussion, suggestions, and entertainment. Its replies are generated or selected automatically and can be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or unsuitable for a particular match. Confident wording does not mean a reply is correct.
Game patches, item values, hero balance, and meta change over time. You are responsible for deciding whether a suggestion fits your game. The bot does not promise improved rank, wins, or any other result.
HOK Expert is a bot. Its casual tone does not represent a human player, professional coach, or official game representative.
3. Acceptable use
Use the bot for ordinary game discussion and respectful conversation. Do not use it to:
- Harass, threaten, discriminate against, or target other people.
- Generate spam, artificially inflate activity, or disrupt a server.
- Request or distribute illegal content, stolen credentials, or sensitive personal information.
- Probe for credentials, bypass permissions, evade rate limits, or interfere with the bot’s operation.
- Misrepresent the bot or its replies as an official statement from the game or Discord.
Do not send passwords, tokens, API keys, or other sensitive information to the bot.
4. Server permissions and chat behavior
If you add the bot to a server, you must have permission to do so. The invite requests permission to view channels, send messages, read message history, and send messages in threads.
The bot can reply to direct mentions, replies to its messages, commands, and direct messages. Where the operator enables it, it can read ordinary messages in allowed channels and make occasional game-related comments after a random message interval, normally 50–100 human messages.
Server administrators can control access through Discord’s channel permissions or remove the bot. Behavior settings are managed by the operator, rather than through public Discord configuration commands.
5. Availability and access
The bot is currently free to use. Availability may vary, and it may be offline, rate-limited, changed, or discontinued. Features and responses are provided on an “as available” basis.
The operator may restrict access to address abuse, technical problems, or platform requirements. No level of uptime or response time is guaranteed.
6. Your data
The Privacy Policy explains the messages and identifiers the bot processes, temporary chat context, optional third-party processing, and how to make a privacy request.
You retain any rights you have in your messages. Interacting with the bot allows the processing needed to deliver its described features; it does not grant a separate right to sell your messages.
7. Rights and responsibility
Honor of Kings and related names and assets belong to their respective owners. HOK Expert is an independent fan project, not affiliated with or endorsed by the game’s creators, publishers, or Discord.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided without warranties of accuracy, reliability, or fitness for a particular purpose. The operator is not responsible for game outcomes, lost rank, or other losses resulting from reliance on bot advice.
Nothing in these terms excludes rights, obligations, or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
8. Changes and contact
These terms may be updated as the bot changes. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised date. Review them before continuing to use the service after a change.
For questions, feedback, abuse reports, or concerns about these terms, email doggytheplayful@gmail.com. Include relevant details or message links where helpful, without sending credentials.
